Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Candle Calculator, available at candle-calculator-app.vercel.app ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Candle Calculator is a tool that helps you estimate wax, fragrance, dye and wick quantities and costs for candle making, and offers optional Premium features. It is provided for informational and planning purposes only.

Accounts

Some features (saving recipes, Premium) require signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under it.

Premium subscription

• Premium unlocks suggested selling prices, unlimited saved recipes and PDF recipe/label export for a recurring monthly fee (currently €4/month), billed automatically until cancelled.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time; access to Premium features continues until the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Prices and included features may change; we will make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers of material changes.

Accuracy of results — please read

All calculations (wax quantity, fragrance load, wick suggestions, costs, suggested prices) are estimates only, based on the information you enter and general industry rules of thumb. They are not a substitute for your own testing. Always test-burn any candle before selling it, and verify that the wick and materials you use are safe for your specific wax, container and fragrance combination. We are not responsible for any loss, damage, injury or unsuccessful candle resulting from reliance on the calculator's output.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — for example, by attempting to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, reverse-engineer it, or use it for unlawful purposes.

Intellectual property

The Candle Calculator name, design and code are owned by us. Your saved recipes and the data you enter remain yours.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta and applicable EU consumer protection law.
