Candle Calculator is a free tool that helps candle makers work out exactly how much wax, fragrance, dye and wick they need — and what each candle actually costs to make — for any mold, in seconds.
Getting a candle recipe right usually means juggling wax-to-fragrance ratios, container volumes and cost math by hand. Candle Calculator does the math for you, so you can focus on the craft: enter your mold dimensions (or water-weight measurement) and wax type, and get suggested wick sizes, fragrance load and a full cost breakdown per candle — available in Italian, English, Spanish, German and French.
Candle Calculator is an independent project built and maintained from Malta, part of the wider Faluma Candles project — a small candle-making business exploring both handmade candles and useful tools for the community of makers.
The core calculator is, and will stay, free. A Premium plan (€4/month) adds suggested wholesale/retail selling prices, unlimited cloud-saved recipes and PDF recipe/label export for makers selling their candles.
All results are estimates to guide your recipe — always test-burn a candle before selling it, and check that your wick and materials are safe for the specific wax and container you're using.
